What is the cutoff for PSA to grade...

Auto cards from the companies? I think I saw where they will only grade from 1998 to present without having to go through PSA/DNA to get it done. Anybody know if this is correct? If it's say a 2000 auto can I jaut send it to PSA for grading? Thanks.

Yes, 1998 and newer (manufacturer authenticated) autos can be sent in and graded like any other card.
