(25) 1961 sets and (25) 1962 sets for sale here as a lot (50 proof sets total). $757 takes all 50 sets dlvd. These are unopened sets that haven't seen the light of day in over 40 years.

If no one is interested in the 50 sets as one lot, I'll offer pairs for sale for $36 dlvd.

    The box was opened, but the sets are all sealed. A customer brought these into a local shop and had opened one set of each year to "check" the contents. After the store owner bought the sets, he had unopened sets of the same year in inventory, so he replaced the one set in each box that had been opened by the customer with an unopened set from inventory to keep the number at 25 for each year.

    So, you get 48 unopened sets from the original owner, and two unopened sets from the dealers inventory, again, UNOPENED. You can tell the two sets the dealer had to replace, as the printing/envelopes are slightly different from the different storage conditions of those sets in comparison to the other 48 sets.

    Not to be an A$$, but any info on how / when the person bringing them in obtained them?

    Does the outer box have (Their or family member) mailing info on it?

    I am not questioning your integrity, but who knows if the person bringing them in bought replacement envelopes.
