Selling my Washington Quarter Registry Set "ColorMeQuarters" SOLD!!!

Time to sell my Registry set. Within the next week or two I'll start listing 10 or more dates at a time on this board before listing them on Ebay. Along with pictures of each I'll have my asking price. This is only an advance notice so please don't contact me about any dates or prices at this time as I haven't come up with a price list as of yet.

That being said, up until the time I start listing them, I will consider any serious offers for purchasing the complete set which includes 4 duplicates for a total of 87 PCGS graded quarters.

Most of the dates are toned so if you love colorful quarters I'm sure you will find something you like. Here's the link to the set which includes pictures: ColorMeQuarters

If you know anybody currently building a Registry set please let them know. I'll start listing on Sunday May 8th or the following Sunday, May 15th. Thanks in advance!image

  • Wow, just simply stunning!!!! Beautiful coins. If I had the money I'd make on offer on the entire set. Some people are going to be very lucky to have a chance to own some of your quarters. Its obvious a lot of time and care went into building that set.

Good-luck! Just a simple question -- with the superb coins you have why arent you trying to sell the collection via a major auction house as opposed to Ebay?

Holy cow that's a nice set.
I especially love the 1964's. They're just not suppose to look that good!

Need six of them, but will probably be only able to swing one or two. If they see there way here. Will be awaiting your offerings. Just remembered there are some upgrades there too. Like about all of them are uprades for my set.
  • TonedPeaceNut - Most of the dates are MS66 and the individual values wouldn't qualify to go up on a major auction like Heritage's Signature. They would end up in the bullet sale which I really don't want. Besides most of the coins have nice toning and I've never been too impressed with the photography of most auction houses. In the past I've done well selling my dupes on this board. Hopefully I'll have the same luck with these. With good pictures and great looking coins I think I'll do okay. I'm not out to make a killing on the set. Didn't start this set as an investment opportunity. If I were to even come close to breaking even I'd be thrilled.

It's been fun building the set and met some great people while doing so. I'm happy no matter what the outcome is. image

    Rick,

Congratulations on the sale. As I mentioned in my PM, I currently only collect proofs. Your set made me want to collect toned Washies. I was busily trying to guess at some pricing while the set was sold. I just couldn't react fast enough. The care in putting together the collection was obvious.

    Congratulations, again.
