1963 proof set
I thought this original set a friend of mine sent in to TT would be doing better than it is. TT Auction ends at 10 pm. It did come from a single original set......bump According to him the set has a "killer" look. And he's pretty cheap to waste 5 grading fees on a chump set so it has to be decent.
Edit: maybe I was wrong. It has jumped from $50 to $130 just in the last hour. I guess it was still too early on the west coast. Enjoy. My friend did say it was a great looking set that he happened to pick out of a Proof Set deal for you guessed it, less than $10. And no.....I am not the owner. Just the "barker."
Now up to $160. This looks like it will be good. My friend has a good eye and tends to be conservative.
That didn't last long. Now up to $200. I hope TT isn't shilling this.
No matter. I'm sure my friend's reserve has long been exceeded.
