Krause question on Chile coins

I have a 1985 and 1986 100 Pesos coins from Chile. Krause lists coins from 1981-87 as KM 226.1 with a pointed 9 and 1988-95 as KM 226.2 with a curved 9.
My question is - the 1985 coin has a pointed 9 but the 1986 has a curved 9 in the date.
Anyone else have a 1986 100 Pesos that they can check the 9 on, or any other example 1981-95? I assume that Krause is wrong on the dates for the 2 different shapes of the 9 but I wonder if there is not a clean date for the switch between the 2 styles.
