Now that we have discovered a new Vam

what has to be done to get it holdered as a discovery coin (ANACS). Do we just send in the coin with a copy of the letter from Leroy and say we want it labeled as such or do we have to wait until the coin is listed in the updates and made official. Any help is appreciated.

What I did with the 1878-S VAM 88 is I sent copies of the letter and pictures that Leroy Van Allen provided and on the ANACS form I listed it as VAM 88 Discovery Coin (with a note to see enclosed documentation) and they labeled it that way. Actually, it was labeled as Discovery PC (piece) since there isn't a lot of room on the slab label.

Jeff, thank you for the info. That is what we will do to get this one holdered. While at it have a few other coins that might as well get holdered since sending anyway.
