Must get oraganized- storing options!

I am a one who must be organized in everything in my life. So..

I have been sorting my collection by date, mintmark, denomination. I have been putting, [mostly the silver] coins in a maylar holder. But now I think I would like to put them in a folder or album for each (pennies, dimes, nickels, etc) to keep them all together and to keep track of what I still need to complete the collection. What is the least expensive folder/album? Which will also hold the coins in maylars? I would like to keep each denomination seperate that will hold all mintmarks for each coin. How do you all hold you coins? Images and links would be helpful. Advice aprecitated. Thanks.

  • I dont have an image, but I just bought 3" ring binders, then bought 20-coin sheets to store my coins in their 2X2 Safeseal holders.

I use a 3 ring binder to store my raw coins. I use the safeseal 2x2 too. This is a great way to store and to organize them. Here are some pictures of my binder and coins. Took these pics really fast.

  • Thank you so much, John image
This is exacly what I've been looking for. Now for the next question...
Coin supply site that I have searched have binders that are very expensive for my budget. would it be ok to get these binders in a stationary store in my area? And where could I get the best price for the page inserts? and the safeseal 2x2 ?
  • For coin supplies I always recommend Brent-Kreuger. Cowens coin pages are by far the best quality of any I have seen and have held up to lots of flipping.
  • amosadvantage.com too
  • Walmart has the binders cheap, just regular 3 ring binders and Hobby Lobby (hobby and craft store) has the safeseal 2x2, pretty reasonable too.
