'99 Dolley Madison Commemorative: "T&Co."?

PhillyJoePhillyJoe Posts: 2,707 ✭✭✭✭
On the reverse of this coin, opposite the mintmark, is "T&Co."
Why do I think it has something to do with Tiffany?

If that's true, what's it got to do with Tiffany?image

    Yes- It's Tiffany & Co.'s design.

Great transactions with oih82w8, JasonGaming, Moose1913.

Here's the engraving they used as a model for the design:

Poor girl. She appears to have no left arm but there is an extra hand coming from you-know-where. (I'm being polite as this is not the OF.) image

I think I read somewhere that it's the only US coin that carries a private company's name.

New collectors, please educate yourself before spending money on coins; there are people who believe that using numismatic knowledge to rip the naïve is what this hobby is all about.

    Tease.

I can only come up with "Pass and Stow".

That's the company, but it's on three different coins. Sesqucentennial half dollar, Franklin Half, and Bicentennial dollar.

WHy does it worry me that Eric has all of these pictures of first ladies at moment's notice? And obviously he has duplicated on some.

The one-armed displaced-hand Dolly is creepy!
