On back of Earl Weaver's 1978 Topps card:

Managerieal Highlights:
- Led Elmira to Eastern League Playoff win against York and Williamsport in 1962
- Guided Orioles to win in 1970 World Series

Yeah, I'm sure Earl's always boasting about the Minor League playoff win in 1962. How about guiding the O's to the Series in '69 and '71, three years in a row. Or the 5 ALCS up to that point. Nope, clearly the Elmira Playoff win is his second most crowning achievement.

    That is funny. Not exactly the same thing, but I read somewhere that there was a picture (cartoon drawing) on the back of someone's baseball card, I want to say 55 or 56, but don't remember who that was.
