  • Russ ... I refuse to be drawn in to any more useless boxing matches with you. You simply are not worth my time. I will no longer respond to your back-handed attempts to insult me. Have a nice day.

You're making assumptions. Are there any other threads that might be helpful to newbies that you would rather not see the light of day again? I sure wouldn't want to accidentally bump one that'll get your panties in a wad.

  • This is the first time I have seen and read this thread in it's entirety and I can't say that I learned anything by it but it sure firmed up my suspicions about bulk lots. Thanks for bringing it to the forefront, others may have seen it for the first time as well.

I've noticed that a couple of the local supermarkets have taken out their CoinStar machines. I guess with Commerce providing the service for free, there was no need for them. image >>

I as wondering if CoinStar had been doing any cent hoarding for the future copper play. Now that it's illegal to melt I figured that if my hunch as right, we might see all the CoinStar machines disappear - even though they still take their 10% (unless you get a gift card or something).

  • You bought what? Couldn't see the auction.

  • I got back from my local Commerce Bank a couple hours ago. $60.33 richer. image Thanks for the tip!

Another classic thread.....buying a coin lot on ebay and bragging about it just doesn't always work out like one would want.
It is always a good reason to become a NPB and then change your handle on the coin forums though, right fletcher?

Hey Richard Bochiman ... or is it Dick? As everyone knows, that was my first coin purchase ever and I changed my handle several months later because I moved away from the Channel Islands. And, I have already owned the buying "unsearched lots" on eBay mistake several times. So try again. Why not bring up the thread where you and your Circle Jerk of Trust spend a year talking about what a great guy Darin is while he is ripping off several forum members at will to finance his new business. Your insight and grasp of the facts was brilliant on that one as well. I guess that you must be running out of old threads to bump.

Now go back to your Open Forum Refuge where no one cares that you do not contribute anything positive and you can dim-wittedly bash people with your lies and not get called on it ...

Ah yes, the attacks that have no substance. Used to that from you.

Let's see....convenient to change a handle just because you move and not because of the colossal fool you made of yourself (though, by that, we would have expected a few more handles out of you by now)

"circle of trust" that you attribute me to.....where have I ever said to be part of any clique or where anyone says I am (aside from your ASSumption?)? You won't find any as I value each person and the trust to them by their merits.

You say "....your Open Coin Refuge". I am guessing that, in your haste to try to be funny that you don't realize you erred and it is "Open Forum Refuge". It isn't mine and, while there are some cool people there, there are many that I certainly do not agree with. It is FAR from mine, but, as usual, you like to jump to conclusions.

Keep on buying your plastic with coins in them fletcher. You are likely going to be able to "own up" to a few more mistakes. Maybe one of these days, you will mature to the point of just moving on. I actually don't mind the posts where you attempt to attack me. At least I am here to defend myself if I want to, unlike your MO lately.

Thank you for correcting my typing error ... now, tell me again why you resurrected this old thread? Just to be a Dick one more time? Yes, that is what I thought ... I am sure everyone here just loves this petty banter.

As for the coins I buy, I will continue to post them, let people draw their own conclusions, and learn from my mistakes and from my victories. On that note, why do you only post here when you are selling something or when you have something negative to say?

Again, you are showing your lack of understanding and ability to see that which is in front of you. I post many to many threads and rarely sell anything here. So, I don't understand that part of your prattle.

Haven't seen where you have posted anything helpful though. Just your coin pics (which is fine) and your sniping at people. When's the last post where you have tried to be helpful? I guess that isn't a problem if you can't help people because you are unable and have no true knowledge to share. image

Yes, including the huge mistake you made by reneging on that $16,000 eBay lot with MohawkCoin, which by my rough calculation would be worth in excess of $20,000 today, based solely on the metals market. Hmmm... I wouldn't mind a 25% return for two years of investment. But you're so smart ChannelIslands - er- Fletcher that you would mind.image

Come on guys, who among us hasn't made serious mistakes in his life. The real test is whether we learn from them. Pointing a finger at the other guy is just a sign of your own insecurity. By the way, some of the language you guys are using leaves alot to be desired. There are lots of young people who read these posts, and you are not setting an example to be proud of. This thread is officially pronunced dead and burried.
