#318 is as pretty, if not prettier, in hand, than the photo demonstrates.

So bear, did you tone those coins yourself in your forest cave or did you buy them pre-toned?

    Mark

P.S. image In truth, those are LOVELY coins and that's coming from someone who likes his coins "white"!

Well, when you reach my age, it becomes time to balance the books.

I would like to help my kids out while I am alive and kicking, so I can enjoy

the giving. I have enjoyed owning these coins and now it is time others

become their caretakers. Wait till you see the stuff I will have coming up in

the Goldberg September Auction. Some really beautiful Type quarters and Half Dollars

PR and MS in blast white and extremely high grades.Of course I will have some monster toners

in that auction as well. Especially, a toned Ike Proof, that will bring tears to your eyes. All of these

toners were colored with my own personal box of Crayola Crayons. image With the exception of the 1923 Peace

which is a MS-65* NGC, the rest are all PCGS. Yup, I am a member of the Cool - Aid Club.

Those are spectacular coins, congratulations on having them.

Whenever I see great coins like that I have the same question: do you know what was responsible for their toning? Was it albums, bag, a showcase, or??

    many thanks, alan mendelson

Alan, Im sorry but I have no idea how these coins

developed their tone. In most cases , I suspect album toning.
