can some tell me the differance between a proof or reg one does it matter on the mint mark wheather its a proof or not i have a 1900 s that is very mirred on both sides is that a proof thank you for your help

Proofs were only made in Philidelphia prior to 1968. Yours can have a "proof-like" look, but it normally cannot be a proof. There are a very few branch mint proofs, but are very rare.

As Tom says you may have a proof like coin. I hope so as they look great! You may also have a whizzed or polished coin. I hope not. Is your $20 Lib certified? Do you have a photo of it?
