No matter what anyone else says, GRADE GUARANTEES are not done quickly

I asked in the Q&A and heard "a couple of weeks".
That was within 3 days of my grade guarantee getting entered into the system.

It was entered 3/24/05.
I have heard others say it isn't that long to wait.

Well, here it is 4/28/05 and still isn't done.

I did call Customer Service and was told by a gent there that it was waiting in verification or something, so I know they have it. I know they looked at it (to some degree).
Then, he mentioned that it was awaiting HRH to look at it. Apparently, David needs to look at ALL the grade guarantee coins.

So, contrary to possible appearances, I am not trying to whine about the process....but, I do get upset at "overpromise" and "underdeliver".
If you go through with a grade guarantee, then expect to wait.

Mine at NGC took TWELVE weeks! Still, I was happy.

None of my PCGS downgrades was ever faster than tjkillian's 12 weeks at NGC. I think the worst was 5-6 months. None the less I was pleased with the process because I ended up whole while the times I didn't have a PCGS certified coin I was out money and that hurt.

TTT'ing this because it has now been ~43 days since it entered the PCGS system and there STILL is no info on it back to me.
Normal submissions are running 40 days, or so it says, but I am looking at 43 days and going.....

I was going to post a question on how long a "Grade Guarantee" takes. I guess I have nothing to whine about. PCGS has only? had the coin 01/12/06. Called Customer Service and sent an email to David Hall a few day's ago. Customer Service said it's in the Grading Process? and that these type submissions take longer than most. No reply from Mr. Hall.
