1839-O Half Dollar
I just picked up my biggest purchase ever - a 1839-O half dollar in XF-40. I was looking through my local coin shops normal inventory and *shock* couldnt find anything I loved in my normal 60-200 dollar price range for a type set. As I was about to leave, he said "Wait, you'd love this one" and pulled out newly PCGS certified bust. He knows me pretty well, and assumed I would just be looking (certainly not buying) in this price range.... but I ran home, picked up the common date Morgans in MS-63 I started collecting with and wanted to dump, and ran back with enough money and items in trade!
I'm almost positive it should have graded XF 45, so that's another bonus! Its completely original looking, and quite beautiful! Anyone have an idea of what I SHOULD have paid? Thanks a lot, and I'll post some scans ASAP!

I don't know for sure but I would think $650 - 750 would be reasonable.
