Off to Toronto

Well, I'm leaving in 20 mins. for Toronto. Hopefully I'll bump into 1 or 2 of you guys up there. I don't know my buddies table # but its Sportsworld. Should be easy enough to find.

Anyhow, looking to pick up some additions for my registry sets while I'm there.

I'll post my "finds" on Monday night.

Maybe even a scan or two if I find anything significant.

What a great trip but the drive back on Sunday was a killer. Got in at 3:30 am Mon. morn then got up for work at 5:15 am. Worked a 10 hr. day and came home to pass out. Ahhh to be 19 again and not need sleep. LOL

The show was pretty good. Had an overall successful trip. Found a ton of cards for my sets and met some great folks.

One of you & friend stopped by and said hi. (He'll remain nameless here unless he chooses to share.) He picked up some significant cards but I won't steal his thunder.

It was a great pleasure to meet Gerry & Jason from Gerry's Sportscards. I've made numerous purchases from them online and it was great to put faces to the names. They really are a great couple of guys who were at the top of my dealer list and are now at the top of my good people list.

It was also a pleasure to meet Harvey from AJ's. Again a great guy much like Gerry. They both are great to talk to and take courtesy to another level.

Well I have about 50 slabs to scan and add to my sets so I'll check in tomorrow.

what was the name of the show in Toronto? How often do they have it per year? How many tables? Do they have lots of baseball stuff too or was it mostly hockey?
