Just tilt the slab a little to your left and you'll see how it looks like it is diving. image

I have seen diving goose coins, this isn't one. I believe PCGS would have stated so on the slab if it was.

Some of these Dollars have a rotated die so the goose looks like it is diving. I really don't think this is one of them.

I thought there was more of a rotation than what is featured here but I am not an expert on this error

I'm no expert on dollars, but I think the diving goose variety has about a 45-50 degree die rotation.

No this is not a diving goose the angle of the goose is not correct. I also agree PCGS would have labled it so as well. Looks like yet another trying to pull as fast one.image
  • Maybe if Jacques Cousteau was still around he could authenticate if it is truly a 'Diving Goose" image

I agree, this coin looks like it is just a slightly rotated die (I'm also not an expert on dollars, though).

  • It is certainly not a diving goose. Rotated die with less than 15 degrees usually are not interested by most collectors.
