question about 1916 m101-5 cards

I have recently come upon some m101-5 Mendelsohn baseball cards. They are exactly like Sporting News (Famous & Barr, Globe, etc.), except that they are blank backed. One of the cards, #125 George Moriarty, states that he plays for Chicago, but the picture has him (or another player, for that matter) in a Detroit uniform. Does anyone know about uncorrected errors in this set? The 2005 catalog lists variations, but this isn't one of them.

Larry Fritsch made a lot of repritns. Many of those are sold as originals on ebay.
