TORONTO EXPO this weekend.

Hi all

Just wondering who was planning on attending this weekends Sportscard Expo in Toronto.
I have not gone to this show since fall of 2003 but am making a point of attending this year. I have little time to spend however ( approx 3 hr's on the Sunday ), so I am planning ahead.

If you are a dealer and are setting up at the show, please chime in here with the heads up on your booth # so I can drop by and say hello. I will be attending the show on the Sunday from opening until about 1pm.
If any fellow collectors from the boards are attending it would be great to meet and put some faces to some names.

Bob ( ONLYPSA ) you mentioned a couple of weeks back that you are making the trip up. If you still are let me know your booth # so I can drop by.

Albie ( ARO13) I noticed that Brian Owen cards is not in the program this year. Are you selling at the show this year? Planning on attending?

Looking forward to your responses.

Have a great day ...Rob..

  • I have a couple of nicely graded Parkhurst green backs.
  • If anybody finds any raw or graded 38 goudeys 5 and up, a PM with their address or website will be very, very, very much appreciated. Essentially willing to pay full SMR for any at the 6 and up level, more for strong centering, etc... But basically I need to just find them first.

Rob - No dealer table this year. I will be there probably Friday night and Sunday afternoon. Good luck finding what you need! I will send you a PM once I know what time I will arrive on Sunday.
  • Hey Rob,

I'm leaving tomorrow (Wed.) morning. Going to the HOF then setting up at the Expo Thurs thru Sun. May be leaving Sat. if we can. They frown on dealers leaving early. I didn't get a booth # from my buddy but its. Sportsworld - New Englands Largest Memorabilia Shoppe.

Hope to see you Sun. if I'm still there.

If you see 2 empty tables...that was probably us.

I don't see anything in the program under either of those names. Perhaps the table is listed under your friends name.

Also, if you are going to the Hockey Hall Of Fame, there is a card shop approx 5 minutes away.
It is called Legends of the game. It is on King St. at John. You won't find any graded cards there, but plenty of raw in all sports as well as there is some nice memoribilia, game tickets, programs, game used sticks etc..

    Enjoy your trip to Toronto.....
