U.S. Mint red storage boxes

Did they ever offer red storage boxes like you see all over Ebay for the '99 - '08 Silver Proof Sets? I'm aware of only the blue storage boxes the U.S. Mint offered, and is now offering again. I think the red ones are simply third party productions, but I'm not sure. I know many of you know the answer. Assuming the red boxes were never released by the Mint, it is annoying that people are selling them as if they are genuine U.S. Mint products. Trivial matter I guess.

The big, red storage boxes that the little red boxes go into....

Don't make me post a picture.

I have only seen the big blue boxes. I have never seen the red boxes.

Would be easier for me to keep track of my sets if I could get a few red ones - I hope they exist.

I definitely think that these are aftermarket items but could be wrong. Even now they do not offer a red storage box.
I decided to change calling the bathroom the John and renamed it the Jim. I feel so much better saying I went to the Jim this morning.

    The name is LEE!
  • I'm about to list this one on Ebay. Worth anything?
