Gannon retiring?

Heard a day or so again that Rich Gannon's neck injury is probably going to force him to retire. Pretty nice career. 18 years, he actually was drafted by New England I think. They wanted him to be defensive back or running back, he refused and was traded to Minnesota. Must have been quite an athlete.

Finished with 28,000+ yards, 180 passing TD's, and an MVP.

I like to snatch up rookie cards of guys I think may end up in the Hall. I think Gannon's a "no" despite a very solid and productive career (MVP is MVP). Anyone disagree?

Anyone with PSA graded Gannon rookies for sale on eBay please refrain from voting!;

    Certainly HOF numbers, but for some reason it's hard to picture him in Canton. You could definitely make a good case for him though.
