  • How many do you want, and where from? Balkans/black sea, Isreal, or Spain/Gaul.

Just to let you know there is a group of characters out of the Balkans that are putting modern contemporary forgeries in the uncleaned lots. The coins are made in Canada and covered in a layer of soft tar and sand and then added as "salt" to coin packages being sold to Ebay distributors, so if you are buying from the Balkans expect to see a few. I got six in my last lot of 50 coins from a company on Ebay it really ticked me off and so I'm not recommending them to anyone, to be fair they may not even realize that their lots are salted but the ratio seems way too high for the supposed number of "random" picks from their bags.

Balkans/Black Sea pretty standard Roman Imperial material running 300-450 AD.
Isreal has some nice stuff but you can get a mix of persian and imperial greece under rome that can mess you up during attributation, my biggest complaint there is the coins are often very worn because of the sand.
Spain/Gaul pretty much like the Balkans although I seem to find more Roman Republics and Imperial Varieties you wont find in the Balkans lots. Its cool to mix the two areas. Spain/Gaul coins have some patina's that are really sweet a desert ochre or red-brown if cleaned carefully, also no problems (so far) with contemporary forgeries.

PM me with what you are looking for and I can let you know what I have found altready.
