Do you like sculpted fields better than flat fields?

I'm just curious.

I like the look of a Peace Dollar with its sculpted fields. On the other hand, flat fields allow for proof-like finishes.

What's your preference?

Well, I think Peace Dollars have sculpted fields. That's why we don't see DMPL Peace Dollars.

Buffalo fields, die polish, hand-crafted coins are WAY better.

I agree. 1913 Type I Buffs and 1916 Walkers are swell. I also like the high relief Peace Dollars of 1921.

As for die polish, I see it all the time on Kennedys.
