Nobody wants this 51B Mantle PSA 8

Why do you suppose no one is bidding even a penny on this 1951 Mantle rookie PSA 8? Could it be the seller's truly scary feedback? Almost nuthin' but negs lately.

It's another Toni Toscana scam. Restricted to pre-approved bidders only, you can't bid until you email the seller. He's really trying to plug his website of phantom inventory. I'll bet the seller will tell you he's in England or Greece or somewhere like that if you want to meet in person to see or buy any of this inventory.

The dead giveaway is that this dumbarse scammer keeps using the same style and format for his websites: always including "-sports-cards.com" with the dashes. Plus, the website is always registered under a generic yahoo.com email address that is nearly identical to the website name.

Another scam of course as you know. This guy really should be officially NARU'd anyway.

So there are zero bids because he approves nobody, just tries to scam them offline?

Yes, that's definitely scammer Toni. Last week he had another group of ebay lots like this with a link to this website, all got quickly deleted by ebay. This group of ebay lots should also get deleted ASAP. This ebay name was different from last week - the usual hijacked account.

Last week the website phone went to some trucking company in Tennessee. Tonis phishing for suckers who won't call. He does return e-mails though - always very cleverly worded to try to scam you bigtime.
  • His feedback is horrific. If he can't deliver fishing rods, can you expect him to deliver a Mantle rookie?

Once he gets your money he'll send you a tracking number from Pegasus shipping. The pegasus site looks all legit, but it's part of his scam.
Last I heard he actually was in Florida or Ohio.

Always looking for Topps Salesman Samples, pre '51 unopened packs, E90-2, E91a, N690 Kalamazoo Bats, and T204 Square Frame Ramly's

He usually steals scans off the websites from the major auctions. Usually he even uses the exact same description as was in the auction.
