What's up with the U.S.Mint (Bison Nickels)?

Well, they're past due shipping them. The date 4/15.

On another note:
Was this backlog on Mint rolls of Bison Nickels pre or post discovery of the "Speared Bison" variety?

I ordered a set of nickels along with some proof sets.
The proof sets came and the nickels showed to be on backorder.

Now when I go to track order, the proof sets show to have been sent
but the nickels don't show at all.
I love the mint.

It was before the discovery.
The mint had people ordering the rolls by the hundreds and could not fulfill them, so they're backordered.
The mint told me they sold every roll they had on hand in the first 10 hours.

Me too with the 4/15 scheduled ship date on the Bison roll sets. I called this morning and after a chorus of meaningless chat the customer care rep. finally offered up that maybe the "new" ship date would be 4/29. I asked for a guarantee of this and she said they don't give guarantees. My original order date was first week in March . . .
