    Looks ok, it is a 1914 and it is a D, doesn't look glued on but hard to tell from this pic.
    Alright! Who removed the cork from my lunch?

    Looks a lot like mine, just a little more worn. I know mine is real and that is why I questioned another 14D in another post, I thought they all had the D closer to the 9 like in these 2.

    I agree. I just questioned that same point on Braddicks thread. The "D" seems too far away from the date.

    I'd need to see a closeup of the mintmark to make sure it's the right style, but it looks legit to me.

    As for the grade, it's only half a coin -- but based on the obverse alone...maybe VG?

    Looks genuine from the photo, the only thing that bothers me a little is the "D" mintmark appears to be quite sharp for a g/vg coin? Probably nothing, but I would want to look closer at the metal flow lines at the base of the mintmark.
