    Isn't that something of a Catch-22? image

You cannot post in the advertising sections or auction area until you have been a member for a certain amount of time and have posted a certain amount of messages in the other areas of the forum. It cuts down on the hit and run scammers and spammers. image

Most images, etc do not load for guests and are only visible to logged in members. The advertisements at the top and bottom of the pages also disappear for logged in members.

I don't want to be a flamethrower on this, but if it takes too much effort to access the necessary information, no one will access it.

If that is in reference to the auctions listed in this thread, I agree. I wouldn't have bothered to list the link to the auctions here if they were mine.

If that is in reference to the rules I listed, I don't care too much if people who won't register can see everything or not. image

If missing a couple of pictures and some clickable links that they would see if they registered causes them not to register, well...I am not too concerned. image

That is a benefit of having a hobby site just up for enjoyment and not having a business site where I am promoting something and trying to make money off of people who come there.

As long as my hositng fees are paid (and that comes from the visitors and the ads they see and not the registered users who don't see ads), I don't have to sweat it. If people see the posts, the features, and the people who are there and want to join and contribute, great. If not, no biggie.

It lets me concentrate on providing things for the people who do register and contribute since I don't have to worry about pleasing potential customers who may or may not register and contribute. image
