Why are the uniforms reversed on many of the cards so that the teams' names don't show? Anyone have the real answer?

    I believe it's a licensing issue. Topps didn't buy the rights to use the team logos so the photographer had to have the players turn their jerseys around. Classic !

    FYI - You will find the same thing with Topps football cards. There are no team logos shown until 1982.
