A couple nice new brown indian cents.

Both have some nice toning and nice surfaces (esp the 1882). The 98 has really nice luster and is kinda glossy, which make it hard to image. Feel free to give grading input and see if you agree with Mr. Snow.image

Great strike on the 1882, it looks like an earlier die state. The 1898 looks very glossy and a later die state. Your pictures are AWESOME, I use your pictures for the background on my computer. Currently I"m using your 1865 Half Dollar.

    Keep showing your entire collection.

    Both are 66BN, photosealed.

the 1882 excels at clean surfaces, but not great luster because of the dark toning. The toning is really nice with Magenta and greeen obv and a little rainbow rev (colors better at an angle).

the 1898 has a few more marks on the cheak (can't hardly see any marks without a loupe), there's quite a few die polish marks present (neck, above headress). It has wonderful luster with irridescent toning. Very nice to look at. This one is hard to image because of the glossy surfaces. You get pretty harsh reflections off of it. I spent several hours trying to get shots as nice as the 1882 which took 20 seconds, and I still couldn't get them as nice.

I wish I could take pictures like that.

I'd guess 66BN on the first one, at least 65BN if not 66BN on the second. These are sweet.

There aren't many coins that get 66BN, but these are certainly candidates.

    I like the 82 as a 66. PQ coin.

I would be unhappy with the 98 in a 66 holder. I would like it better as a 65 PQ

I agree with cohodk. That second coin doesn't look to be a great, or even a good 66, going by the image. The feather tips are fully struck. There seems to be a decent sized hit in feather 3, as well as two other decent hits on the upper and lower cheek areas.

Could simply be the image though.

    The 1882 is quite nice.
