How do you like this toned Franklin? Guess the Grade.

I just picked it up pretty cheap. I like the reverse colors. It's in a cool holder too.

If you guessed MS65, then you agree with PCGS. Congrats. It's also residing in a very cool holder.

It's hard to see any marks because if the toning, especially on the reverse. I DO notice some reed marks on the cheek and the reverse, as well. Nice luster...I'll say 66, no FBL.

You are correct about the reed marks on the obverse. I really should reshoot the reverse to show how strong the bell lines are. Not FBL but darn close.

i cannot see the balls.
how can a coin grade so high when there is obvious missing detail?
be bop a doola taught me that.

but then again, i have only studied gold libertys in depth. I know what
areas are the highest on the coin.

it looks like a strong strike. lots of wear to remove all that detail.
otherwise the words would "blend into the coin".

Great toning on the reverse and that holder has always been one of my favorites. I need to get one like it sometime.
