Very nice!! You need to have that Morgan fitted for a plastic suit at Newport Beach, CA.image
  • Very nice coin, Lucy. I'm not a Morgan man but I knows quality when I sees it. That one is one quality gem mint coin.

    Good shot at MS66.

The ticks between the eye and E, the rub below UNUM between head and stars, the rub on the chin and neck (might be a photo artifact) and the ticks below GOD WE and above the eagle's head do not appear significant enough to keep it from MS66

It also has a strong hair detail above the ear that makes an even stronger case for MS66

  • My mistake..not a Corvair but still a nice ride..Tried to make it out but these old eyes cant read the hood..What is it and what year ?????
  • Looks like a 63 or 64 Thunderbird. Thinking back, I would say a 64.

    T-BIRDS

My guess is 65 on the Morgan. The clue to both the year and mint state of the car have to do with the "Tilted B" on the obverse of the T-BIRD. I know what year it is but you should be able to figure it out on the above link comparing the different years 63-65.

I think the T-Bird has some "rubs" that are intentionally being hidden. The "flipped skirt" appears to be drawing our eyes away from the slight rubs but is a nice distraction. The rubs bring the car down to AU..to image
