DNS changes...

Hey Forum-folks,

This weekend we're going to make some DNS changes (moving to a new provider) which should improve the reliability/accessibility of the site. You might see some intermittent downtime over the next 24 hours as the changes propagate.

For you folks addicted to the forums, you can always access them using the IP address: http://64.94.212.253

    Hey David, if you are using MCI they have had a serious DNS issue today. 6 hours so far and no internet email at my firm. You may want to reschedule your maint. or get it in writing from MCI that the routers will update in 48 hours.

    My guess is that MCI is outsourcing their DNS to the same provider we've been using. This particular (very large and well known) DNS provider has been having problems since about 6am this morning Pacific time.

    That's why we're changing!

    Im going to try to use the word propagate in the next couple of days. I like that one.
