What do you think?

Just bought the set in Mastro's April auction, added a few cards and now for sale. I think it is a bit odd and doesn't sit well. It just feels wrong. Looks like the seller is a dealer. Spend 11K to make what 2%?Text If the link didn't work here is the auction number 5189185141

I guess no one thinks anything is wrong with this auction?

Well Jay, he has 5900 feedbacks. I assume he hopes to make more than 2% profit. But I agree that buying on Mastro and selling on eBay is not a recipe for success, unless you're breaking up the set.

jayhawke - I don't see a problem; Rick's business model may not be the best - but what exactly is your concern?

That it doesn't make sense. Doesn't it make you stop and think what is going on here?

<< <i>This set has 90 graded cards (which are listed below), and the only reason the rest arent graded is that the slabbing cost would be too high for us to be able to sell them for a reasonable price. >>

C'mon - this is the biggest bunch of baloney going. When you factor in grading costs (use $10 a card) versus what you could get if some of those ungraded cards received 8's or 9's, - you see the only reason the rest aren't graded is because they shouldn't be.

And yes, flipping items bought at Mastro on Ebay is the equivalent of lighting your money on fire. But, nothing's wrong with that, I suppose.

$7500 minimum bid with no reserve? Count on this auction being ended early.

The PSA 7 Jackie Robinson is a travesty in grading latitude.

Maybe potential bidders are not comfortable with the 61 negative feedbacks
