I've always been partial to Bombo Rivera. In 1979, my dad and I went "big-time" when we (he) purchased a 1979 Topps vending case. That was our introduction to Bombo Rivera. From that point on, the term "Bombo Rivera" became synonymous with a worthless common, regardless of the year or brand.

Larvell Blanks was a close second.

Don Mossi was always a strange name, made even stranger by his great looks.

And finally, just think of the endorsement money Woodie Held would have earned had Viagra been around in the 1960's.

My vote is for John Wockenfuss. It may not make sense until you see him end an inning on a called third strike with the bases loaded.........the fans always seemed to have fun with that one!
