Grading special and Autographed cards

Hello all,

Quick question. Can you include autographed cards in the $12 special? These are company issued autographs not self obtained.

    You can include them if they are from the manufacturer and are dated 1998 to present.
    Anything from the manufacturer from 1997 and previous needs to go through the Autograph Card Grading & Authentication service starting at $20 per card.

    Carol, I didn't know that post 1998 autographs were allowed.
    When I click the "Set Registry Special" link in bold letters it says:
    "$12 per card/5 business days - cards valued up to $500. No minimum. (Excludes Super Sized and Autographed cards.)"

    I took this as being all autographed cards. The wording doesn't differentiate what years are acceptable, or certified versus non certified autographs.

    I've submitted quite a few of the certified 1998-Present autographed cards through the the $5 specials that come up occasionally. I agree, the wording isn't great, but that only refers to the pre 1998 autographs.

    and to autos on cards after the fact - those need to go via their PSA/DNA combo grading special.
