I guess I need two references from the hobby to bid in the Robert Edward Auctions.
Jay, I bought that 1950 Bowman PSA7 BOBBY DOERR from you remember? HUGE purchase, how could you forget! Anyone else?
I mostly buy online and have bought from Naxcom, , Mickeys, and 707 among others in the past but it's all online and pretty impersonal. Seeing as I collect Baseball in Canada, there arent a lot of like minded people up here even with the hockey strike on....and hardly no hobby shops worth my time to check out for the Bowmans I seek.

Now looking for a 1950 Bowman Baseball Box as pictured below.

Jayhawke, yes I do have one pug, thats "weezie" to the left. Partly named after Weezie Jefferson and the way she sounds. Great dogs.
Thanks all for the suggestions, this is the first time I have bid in an auction where they required references, wasnt sure how vigorously they checked them.

edit..spelling as usual
It was many years ago for me and I used Rob Lifson as a reference since we had done some business together. It worked.

How is it i can buy a "race horse" without reference's for alot of money mind you, but i have to have reference's to buy a card? I have yet to buy from an auction house. Is this standard practice?
