My nephew just came home on leave from Iraq

He gave me an 8 coin uncirculated set from Iraq. Coins no longer current there.
He said Iraqis came into the U.S. Camp all the time selling this kinda stuff.
He also brought home a bunch of Iraqi paper money with Saddam on it, but gave it all to his mother. He said he'd bring me some when he comes home this fall.
He said there's a restriction againt mailing money.

Even though Saddam was a monster, the paper money of the time is rather interesting.

Glad your nephew is safe. I assume he has to return, given that you said he is "on leave."
