Hi Dave,
It's been a while since anything has been said about whether or not the PCGS wooden boxes for slabs are really safe to use. PCGS was checking into this but nothing has been said for months.
I'm one of several, I presume, who spent 3 figures on these boxes. I hope we are close to a resolution, one way or the other, whether my PCGS encapsulated coins are safe from future damage as a result of being in the boxes.
What's the latest?
Thanks!
P.S. If the answer is that they need to be returned, I would be happy with grading certificates in lieu of cash.

We are still testing and waiting for a problem to arise. So far, no noticeable difference in coins has been detected. But we'll keep it up for years if we have to.
I believe the boxes are most probably OK.
Thanks,
David
