Any chance these cards will grade a 9?

I just opened two vending boxes of 1980 Topps Baseball and two vending boxes of 1983 Topps Baseball. After looking at 2,000 cards I can find only four with a shot a 9. Any guesses/comments/opinions? Click link for the scan.

Sandberg 8 ( same as above but worse on this one.....both upper corners aren't strong )
Murphy 9 (this may have a shot at a 10, a miniscule diamond cut....depends on grader)
Ripken 8 (because of the corners and edges)

The scan took up the whole page nice and big. Is there blue (old rub off from packs) on the top
2 cards, or is it the scan?

9 - Trammel (not bad)
7 - Sandberg (upper left corner)
9 - Murphy (bottom edge a concern)
8 - Ripken (I hate rough cut cards but PSA doesn't)
If these are the best 4 out of 2000, that's tragic. The 2 "9" might get grading fee, the other two won't
8 - ripken
8 - sandberg
9 - murphy
i'm thinking like buccaneer...are these the best out of 2k cards? where did the vending come from? how did your henderson's look from the 80 vending?
Thanks,

1985 Topps Football (starting in psa 8) - #9 - started 05/21/06
7 - Sandberg
9 - Murphy
8 - Ripken
The last two Murphy 9's on ebay sold for $5 and $5.51 which makes these 4 boxes a complete washout. What was the problem with the bigger stars (Henderson, Ryan, Schmidt, Rose from '80, same plus Sandberg, Gwynn, Boggs and Ripken from '83)? If there weren't any or if they were significantly worse than most of the cards then you probably got ripped off. If they were there and just Ex-Mint - NM like all the others then the seller doesn't store his cards very well. Either way, you may want to let the seller know you were disappointed with the cards - his reaction will probably tell you (and us, if you share it) a great deal.
I would put my money on EagleEye, he's rarely wrong.
1983's - No Gwynn or Boggs! Three Sandberg's. You've seen the best one. Two Ripken's, One Ryan in NM. The 83's were in much better shape than the 80's. There are probably 50-100 commons with a legitimate shot at a nine, I just don't want to spend the money to have them graded unless a good special comes along.
I didn't really expect a whole lot from the 80 boxes since I only paid 39.95 each for them, well below market value. One Henderson even in NM-MT would have been nice though.
If anyone would like to see a scan of a specific player let me know and I'll be happy to post it.
