38 goudey wrapper/pack anyone?!

Has anyone seen or know anything about the 38 goudey wrappers or packs? I haven't even been able to locate even a pick of a pack or wrapper to date. how many cards, how much, etc... the only thing I've ever seen besides the cards is one uncut sheet at mastro that sold for 12 grand or so I think it was.

There's been a few uncut sheets that have come to auction over the years. I was recently looking through the Halper Sotheby's catalog again and there was one up for bid (autographed!!).

I've never seen a pack; the wrapper comes up for sale from time to time (in old auction catalogs - Lipset, Robert Edward, etc). Cool looking set!

I thought I saw a Goudey wrapper when I was lookin at the Mastro results. The one thing I did notice is that GAI is now grading/encapsulating wrappers. I wonder how long it will be until they grade the gum...

Yea, I know. its a beauty. we'll see what it goes for. as for poking fun at GAI for grading wrappers... triple sss sportscards has their own business cards graded by GAI and PSA. I saw them at the last show and I still can't get over the retardness of it.
