1692 William III Copper 1/2d ID help

Is this perhaps a mule of some sort, or perhaps a contemporary counterfeit? Any suggestions/ideas welcome, thanks in advance! (Sorry about the poor pic)

1692 1/2d, copper/bronze, bust of William III only. 11.6g

Are you sure that is not actually a "7" instead of a "2"? The image is really too dark to attribute any key markers.

Definately a 2 and not a 7 or a 9.

Hi,
I would say that is a normal 1699 1/2d.
1) The weight - you say "only 11.6g" - that is heavier than average!
2) That type of Britannia with the arm turned down started use in 1699,
so any 16?? Regal coin is 1699.

The last 9 could be from a damaged die - so that the loop of the 9 is open,
making it look like a 2.
