DOLLARS:

1883-O PCGS MS63--SOLD
Awesome coin with fantastic lustre and color. The obverse is blue, mixed with a hint of green, and the reverse mostly gold/orange with blue and green around part of the periphery. Very cool!

1884-O NGC MS62--Textile Obverse, Rainbow crescent reverse--$83
A very nice coin for the grade. The obverse has nice lustre (much nicer than the photo shows), and is covered in textile dots. There is a pretty hefty hit on the cheek, though. To be fair, you'll be looking at the reverse more, anyway (it's holdered reverse out). Ample lustre and some beautiful color make the reverse extremely pleasing, and its cleanliness would easily support a 63 or 64. Strike is decent.

1884-O NGC MS62 TRUE RAINBOW--$90
Typical obverse bagginess for a 62, but with very nice lustre... the reverse has a 50% true rainbow crescent. A great chance to get a true, large rainbow at a low price!

1887 PCGS MS63 Crescent Obverse--$57
Great lustre and a thin but vibrant crescent, running from 5:30-10:00 adorn this coin. The obverse has typical chatter, while the reverse is quite clean.

1887 NGC MS64 Rainbow Reverse--$110--SOLD
A beautiful coin with exceptional lustre with a relatively nice strike. The reverse has a very nice band of neon color, which seems to have come not from a bag but from an album with the plastic straps on the back. The color glows with the lustre beneath it. The tone image shows the actual color better, while the lustre image shows the lustre quite well.

1887 NGC MS62--$64
A very pretty reverse (holdered reverse-out), covered with a 40% crescent. At first glance, it appears to be a triple crescent, but on closer inspection, it can be seen that very light color extends the crescent to tips. Great lustre, and vibrant color beneath it. The obverse is an off-white with original skin. A gash on the cheek hurts the grade, but you won't be looking at that side, anyway image

HALF DOLLAR

1952-S NGC MS66 Green Franklin--$175--SOLD
Here's a coin I really like. The obverse is a bit dark, but under light, the colors, especially green and orange/red come to life with great lustre beneath them. The reverse is mostly a slight off-white, but has simply extraordinary lustre with a hint of rainbow colors around the periphery and very clean fields. A beautiful coin that is much nicer than these old photos show.
