Am I missing something here? Guy posts picture of his 1957 Mantle SCD 9 Mint next to a PSA 8 of the same card. The PSA 8 looks better to me. The 8 goes for $2,000...this seller is asking $7,000 for his 9. image

    All I can figure is it's a way to get PSA into the auction title.

    I used to have pretty good luck in selectively crossing
    SCD graded cards into PSA holders, but at $ 7,057, that would be one huge gamble. image

    SCD from cards that I saw did a decent job. The SCD looks better to me, but I like centering.
    Now looking for a 1950 Bowman Baseball Box as pictured below.

    I agree with the sentiments on SCD grading -- they did a very good job, but there just wasn't a need for another player in the field.
