Well, the label says Al Kaline and has Kaline's card number, the PSA cert number shows Al Kaline, but the card is Ernie Banks. Seems a bit unusual. But I guess it's too obvious to be a scam.

Ouch! Isn't this where Dabighurt gives the "8 Million Cards" speech?

I wonder why the owner didn't ask PSA to fix the mistake. They do that for free, and sometimes issue grading vouchers as compensation.

Exactly. It's not a scam, only a PSA error. The thing I like about the auction is that the seller does not overinflate the "error" as though it may bring more value to the card. The seller has done a perfect job of explaining the item for sale.

I don't understand the goofs sometimes. How do you know there isnt an Al Kaline in an Ernie Banks PSA 8 holder out there? There had to have been more than a typo done. I wish they would elaborate on these sometimes so people know that the right grade is assigned to a card that was just labled wrong.....

If you look at the cert #'s, the card after this was another Al Kaline 6. My guess is that they accidentally entered that card in the system twice in two successive numbers.

I wonder if the seller was the one who sent it in. If so, he should have returned it for a proper grading.
