Guy in Turkey selling banknotes.. oddly, several notes of his have serial numbers only one digit off from the ones viewable at Ron Wise's online catalog, if that, and they are scaled down to be fuzzy/illegible.
Examples:
GERMANY 1.000 MARK 1977 UNC RARE --- Ron Wise's
GABON 10.000 FRANCS 1978 UNC --- Ron Wise's
EGYPT 25 PIASTRES 1914 VF (he mislabled this one!) --- Ron Wise's
etc....
Private auctions. Inconsistent backgrounds. Big money. Not good.
Someone is gonna get hurt. Then again you have to be pretty dumb to throw $200+ at a note where the reverse isn't shown.
