I am new to the coin and currency world. It seems to me that those guys on tv are extremely high. Am i correct in that assumption? His "stupid cheap" deals seem just stupid. Maby there is something I just don't understand.

    Hello, to learn the true value of these coins and much much more visit the us coins forum and hang around and learn. Do some seaches on the tv markerter's, coin vault.

    Another good way to learn is to do three things first and foremost.
    1) Find a good dealer you trust.
    2) Before you buy any coins, buy some books. A good dealer can help you with that.
    3) Read, Read, Read ! The more you know the better you can comunicate wth dealers and other collectors.

    And if you find that coin colecting becomes a passion, join the American Numismatics Association and use all the services they offer the best that you can.

    I agree with the others and wanted to sayimage to me buting on TV = throwing 1/2 your money away- Glad we caught you before you sent them $----Don/mm
