Crossover or cracking?

What would anyone recommend concerning crossover grading. Would you be better off cracking the old holder and submitting raw, and if so, what is the best way to do this without damaging the card inside?

    Do a forum search for "crack" AND "crossover" in "Title OR Body" in categories "PSA Set Registry Forum" and "Sports Cards & Memorabilia Forum". You should find lots of threads that will address your questions.

    if the card its expensive, you should think twice about cracking

    Just cross it over, I've cracked out a ton and sent them in and the came back as evidence of trim. I find when I do a cross over they all get slabbed.
