If my kid is with me, b.
    If not, a.

    How's that for situational ethics?

Eh.. They're probably all searched by the dude that fills the machine anyway.. opens a box.. keeps opening pack untill he gets that one per box insert then sticks the remaining pack into the machine.

If my son was with me I'd give him the money and let him get the packs, No moral problem then hes under 16 and can't be held accountable..

  • Are there such machines? I dont believe Ive seen any, but I never saw card vending machines when I was younger either (the kind that spit out the single cards).

In the early 90s, I used to see them at the supermarket e.g. And the vending machines that give you individual cards - I have seen them at the PX back in the mid 90s - haven't noticed lately.

For those who are too young - in the 60's, vending machines were everywhere - and because vending boxes can be damaged so easily, a lot of the cards you got out of them were dinged!

card companies charge too much for their products. I guess it hurts the merchant, but oh wells.
Running an Ebay store sure takes a lot more time than a person would think!

After draining my bank account and the machine, I would go next door to the subway, order a 6 inch veggie deluxe and a "water" and
    really get sprite!

A, then B....after buying all the packs and ripping to see what they yielded.

Maybe even complain to the manager that the packs in the machine were searched.

My revenge for buying too much disappointing product in the past, and getting only the Bob "I Once Played 25 Games for the Orioles" Nelson blue auto in '05 Heritage. Geez, it could have at least been a red one. image

No knock on Heritage. Love it and the hunt for the set, thanks to you guys.
