Question about Goldberg Coin
![wildjag](https://us.v-cdn.net/6027503/uploads/authoricons/lightball02.gif)
I was waiting to snipe some nice German 5 marks and they ended the auction early stating "an error in the minimum bid or Reserve amount", even though it had bids on it. Link
So my question is: Is it a common practice for them as I have seen them do it several times. While I realize they are trying to save money by not putting a reserve on the auction, it kinda ticks me off. Granted they have a lot of nice coins, but if they have the balls to start the auction at $.99 with no reserve, then at least see it thru.
Anyone else have this experience with them?

Maybe if a lot of us e-mail him saying we won't bid on his auctions anymore, he'll think twice about pulling this stunt again.
Jeez ... I must be in a bad mood tonite

<< <i>Looks to me like they feared it would not bring a price they wanted, so they cancelled under that cheesy pretext. Sellers pull that nonsense all the time on sleaze-bay

I was having a good day until this
I can almost guarantee the price would have tripled in the last 30 seconds because of who had bid on it in the beginning

<< <i>If this is the firm that I think it is, in Beverly Hills, my brother had some rather uncomplimentary things to say about them. One subject did involve their auctions. >>
I think the one in Beverly Hills is the Goldberg auction house while this guy is based in neighboring Marina Del Ray. I don't know if they are in cahoots.
I've also had auctions end early with the seller on e-bay, it seems their standard operating procedure. I alsi don't care for the Auction house for unrelated reasons.
