Really Good Grading Question. What if a Crossover Coin Has Hidden Damage?

Hypothetical. Lets say that a collector submits a slabbed Morgan for crossover grading. The grader agrees to cross. When the coin is removed from the original holder, significant damage is noted on the reeding. The grader cannot reseal the coin in the submitted holder, but if he bodybags the coin, the collector takes a bath.

Edited to add: That is a PERFECT question for the Q and A.
I would assume once it's cracked, it has been graded by PCGS and falls under their warranty.
You crack it - you bought it
