O.T. - - Can somebody PLEASE help me fix my "tagline"?!

Please, Please, Please!!! Can somebody help me?

As the message below which I sent to carolj a while ago explains, I have been having a problem with my "tagline" for quite a while now with no help to correct. I have messaged carolj & the web developer listed here - - and received no response.

Am I sending it to the wrong people? Is there somebody else I should be sending it to? I just want to be able to get back in and correct/change things - - especially my e-mail address!

Any help would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks in advance!

Part of the problem might be that you changed e-mail addresses. When you do that, you can't (if I understand the system correctly) log on until carolj sends you a new "password" for your new e-mail account. If you are on the new e-mail account and try to change anything in your profile, it won't work.

If you can't get carolj to help in a timely fashion, send a PM to Sportsmoderator1 (Otis) ... he is VERY helpful.

Thanks, Auldfartte! But I didn't switch e-mail addresses. I was editing stuff below it in my "tagline", and at some point either exceeded the space or character limite, & the error cut short my e-mail address & put the notation seen at the end of it & then locked me out with an error.

But I will try Otis as you suggested.

Ah ... the number of characters is limited. That's gotta be the problem.

Change the "{ }" to "[ ]" in the above.

If the problem is character length you could try using something like this site to shorten your Tradable Extras link: http://tinyurl.com/. I'm sure URLs and email addresses count against character length so this will help with the url side of things.

Thanks, all! I will use the above suggestions once I am able to actually get back into my profile & make any edits. Right now, the minute I click to get to my profile, the error coems up & I am unable to even get in.

But, hopefully, Otis can help there!
